East Hawai‘i Fund

The Community Grants Program provides project- or program-based funding to nonprofit organizations benefiting the communities and people of Hawai‘i. The East Hawai‘i Fund specifically supports projects benefiting East Hawai‘i, from Waipi‘o Valley to Waiohinu. This fund prefers applications involving community collaboration and addressing needs in education, intergenerational relationships, economic sufficiency, family-centered health care, social conditions, and recreational opportunities. Grants are up to $10,000, with preference for larger amounts given to 501(c)(3) organizations or those with a fiscal sponsor.
