All work supported under this Grant shall focus on reducing health disparities for the populations across the state impacted by the high prevalence of cardiovascular disease (CVD), exacerbated by health inequities and disparities, social determinants, such as low incomes, poor health care, and unfair opportunity structures.  Financial Notes: National Cardiovascular 2304 Strategy 3B ADHS will identify one (1) Subrecipient to create or expand a (CHW) led community-clinical linkage partnership/program in one of the following counties: Apache, Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, Mohave, Navajo, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, Yavapai, or Yuma. Innovative Cardiovascular 2305 Strategies 3A and 3B ADHS will identify one (1) contractor to create or expand a community-clinical linkage partnership/program within Maricopa County. The Subrecipient shall work within a CCL partnerships/programs to identify and train dedicated CHWs (or their equivalents) through a CHW SDOH referral system to create and enhance community clinical links to identify social determinants of health {(SDoH) e.g., housing, transportation, access to care, and community resources} and respond to the individual social services and support needs within each county, providing a continuum of care and services which extend the benefits of clinical interventions and address social services and support needs leading to optimal health outcomes.

The Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the U.S. Embassy in Colombo is seeking a local implementing partner to administratively support a four-day Youth Leadership Summit in close consultation with the Embassy, tentatively scheduled for March 2025. The Summit will bring together Youth Forum members representing U.S. Embassy Colombos American Spaces in Kandy, Jaffna, Matara, Batticaloa and Colombos American Center. Approximately 75 Youth Forum Members from across Sri Lanka will participate in a four-day, in-person workshop of skill-building sessions intended to develop the next generation of Sri Lankan youth leaders. In addition, approximately 25 Youth leaders from the South Asian region (nominated by the U.S. Missions to Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Pakistan) may also be invited to participate, pending confirmation of additional funding to support their travel and lodging.

The ROK is now one of the worlds most influential countries following decades of impressive economic growth, technological innovation, cultural exports, and public sector initiatives. As like-minded democracies, both the ROK and the U.S. have a strong responsibility to make sure economic and social opportunities are open to all citizens, especially women. To support womens economic opportunity, the U.S. Embassy in Seouls Public Diplomacy Section will create a leadership and mentorship cohort of at least twenty South Korean women between the ages of 25-39 who represent diverse sectors of the economy and have shown the potential to grow as leaders in their respective fields. Through this program, participants will learn from American and Korean experts, and broaden their professional network. The U.S. Embassy seeks proposals from ROK-based organizations to run this program which includes recruiting members, planning and implementing events, and expanding its existing network that connects Korean and American women leaders. Strong preference will be given to proposals that include participants from outside of the Seoul metropolitan region and utilize our American Corner network (located in Busan, Gangneung, Gwangju, Jeju and Pyeongtaek) in addition to the American Diplomacy House in Seoul. Outputs/Outcomes This program should focus on developing leadership skills, expanding participants global mindset, and connecting emerging leaders with one another. Participants should be between the ages of 25-39, in their early to mid-careers, and demonstrate their potential to grow as leaders in their professions. Grantee Expectations The following components should be included in the program: Minimum of 6 coaching and/or discussion sessions (either in-person or virtual) Minimum of 2 interactive workshops on leadership Minimum of 2 networking opportunities Coaching Sessions The grantee will be responsible for organizing and implementing a series of in-person, virtual, and/or hybrid engagements with U.S. and/or Korean experts who can empower and provide coaching sessions to this group of selected participants. Engagements should provide opportunities for participants to share their challenges, develop their leadership skills through professional coaching, and provide guidance on their career paths. The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is accepting applications for a cooperative agreement to measure the use of health information technology (IT) among office-based physicians. The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to measure U.S. office-based physicians' use of interoperable health IT, their experience using health IT, and the impact of health IT on the care they deliver. The cooperative agreement is intended to produce detailed data on interoperability and use of health IT by office-based physicians. These data will result in insights on the implementation and effects of federal health IT policies, allow for identification of disparities in the physicians adopting and using interoperable health IT in terms of the populations they serve or unintended consequences such as increased burden on clinicians resulting from the implementation of health IT, and will inform ONC's ongoing efforts to achieve better health enabled by data through coordination and regulation. The cooperative agreement recipient is encouraged to make the key findings of the cooperative agreement publicly available via their website; peer-reviewed publications in biomedical journals; presentations at conferences; webinars, or blog posts.

The U.S. Embassy New Zealand Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to develop and implement a Young Pacific Leaders (YPL) Model Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) to provide emerging Pacific leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to become national and international Pacific leaders, pending the availability of funding. The program will include Young Pacific Leaders from all PIF member nations, PIF observers, and select PIF dialogue partners such as the United States (Hawaii). The program will take place at least over a year-long and will consist of 1) Young Pacific Leaders shadowing or interning with a PIF leader or Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Council of Regional Organizations of the Pacific, or similar leading up to and during the PIF leaders meeting 2) Young Pacific Leaders participating in a youth Model PIF leaders meeting and 3) three youth mock parliaments in Micronesia, Polynesia, and Melanesia. Young Pacific Leaders may be placed in their home governments or in a host government. The YPL PIF program should emphasize experiential learning and capacity building in order to equip diverse participants with the tools they need for success. The EPA is seeking additional applications from eligible public and private nonprofit entities (see eligibility described in Section III.A of the Notice of Funding Opportunity) to assist current or prospective EPA grant recipients more effectively address their grant progress and performance requirements oftheir EPA-funded grant agreements. Executive Summary: The Ambassadors Resilience Fund aims to build resilience to violent conflict and violent extremism in Guinea by strengthening social cohesion in at-risk communities. A total of $100,000 U.S. Dollars (USD) in FY 2023 Regional Peace and Security Funds will be awarded through this RSOI (pending availability of funds), with individual grants expected to be awarded in the range of $10,000 - $25,000 U.S. Dollars (USD) for work that will support program objectives. A. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The U.S. Embassy in Conakry announces an open competition for organizations to submit a Statement of Interest (SOI) to carry out innovative, small-scale, community-focused projects aimed at building social cohesion and resilience among at-risk communities in Guinea. Projects should seek to address underlying drivers of violent conflict and violent extremism, such as lack of equitable access to economic opportunity, competition over scarce resources, and identity-based stigmatization or marginalization. Embassy Conakry invites organizations interested in potential funding to submit SOI applications outlining program concepts that reflect these goals. Please carefully follow all instructions below. The Ambassadors Resilience Fund is designed to contribute to the U.S. Strategy to Prevent Conflict and Promote Stability (SPCPS) in Coastal West Africa. The SPCPS seeks to promote peace and prevent violent conflict and violent extremism that risks destabilizing Coastal West Africa (including Guinea, Cote dIvoire, Ghana, Togo, and Benin). It aims to implement a new policy approach that addresses the political drivers of fragility and supports locally driven solutions. The submission of the SOI is the first step in a two-step process. Applicants must first submit a concise one- to three-page statement of interest designed to clearly communicate program idea and objectives. This is not a full proposal. The purpose of the SOI process is to allow applicants to submit program ideas for evaluation prior to the required development of a full proposal application. Upon a merit review of eligible SOIs, selected applicants will be invited to expand on their program idea(s) by submitting a full proposal application. Full proposals will go through a second merit review before final funding decision(s) are made.

The U.S. Embassy New Zealand Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to implement the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) to promote womens social and economic empowerment, pending the availability of funds. The cohort should take place sometime between 2025-2026. Each AWE cohort should include about 30 women meeting either online or in person. AWE cohorts may take place in any, all, or the following select countries: New Zealand, Niue, the Cook Islands, Tokelau, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Federated States of Micronesia. About the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs By ensuring that women have the skills, capabilities, and resources to fully participate in the economy, AWE directly supports the U.S. National Strategy on Gender, Equity, and Equality. AWE was established in 2019 to provide women with the knowledge, networks and access to launch or scale successful businesses. Cohorts of approximately 30 women meet online and in-person to learn core business skills such as strategic planning, marketing and finance, then discuss the material with local facilitators, business leaders, and U.S. exchange alumni mentors. Through its partnership with Arizona State Universitys Thunderbird School for Global Management and the Freeport-McMoran Foundation, AWE utilizes a no-cost, online learning platform. Used by AWE since 2019, DreamBuilder teaches participants the fundamentals of starting or growing a small business from a U.S. perspective, offering modules on marketing, pricing, and bookkeeping, and includes a built-in business plan generator. It is available only in English and Spanish, though posts may conduct mentoring and facilitation in local languages. This year, implementing partners may also use a new online curriculum, in whole or in part the Najafi 100 Million Learners Global Initiative - alongside or instead of DreamBuilder. 100 Million Learners Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Bootcamp may be most suitable to implementing partners who are looking for a more challenging business curriculum, or who wish to provide complementary modules on key topics in entrepreneurship and innovation. 100 Million Learners is currently offered in 20 languages and will add up to 20 more in the future. Proposals to establish new AWE cohorts must use either DreamBuilder or 100 Million Learners for their curriculum.

The U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to carry out its U.S. Speaker Program. The Speaker Program brings dynamic U.S. citizen experts to North Macedonia to engage professional and student audiences throughout the country on topics of strategic importance to the United States and North Macedonia. Specifically, the program seeks to engage local audiences on rule of law reforms; judicial independence; government accountability and transparency; professional journalism practices; combating foreign malign influence; cybersecurity; climate and security issues; diversity, equity, and inclusion; encouraging civic action at the local and community level; culture, arts, and advancing womens economic empowerment through the shared knowledge, expertise, and know-how of U.S. experts. The program also seeks to establish concrete networking and contact-building opportunities among U.S. experts and local audiences. Programs may take place in person or virtually. We highly recommend potential applicants collaborate and coordinate with project partners in North Macedonia in order to implement the requested programs successfully. We expect to select one or more program implementers for grant awards of up to $50,000. U.S. Speakers address strategic policy priorities identified by the U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia. The U.S. Speaker Program promotes an understanding of U.S. policies and institutions as well as the political, economic, and social context from which they arise. As modern Kenya is trying to grow an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) marketplace for the future, the U.S. Embassys Public Diplomacy Section seeks to partner with U.S. higher education institutions through targeted grants to facilitate academic, research, and private sector-growth partnerships with Kenyan universities. The workshop should preferably take part in a Pacific nation in 2025-2026. The proposed workshop will focus on building local capacity within Pacific nations to help participants develop storytelling as a tool for advocacy and a means to preserve cultural heritage leveraging digital tools and technologies like AI to support these endeavors. Workshop sessions should be designed to introduce and operationalize best practices in this space to elevate Pacific cultural heritage and sovereignty. This workshop will bring together practitioners from all levels of society and administration including government, civil society, and experts to discuss challenges, develop action plans, and leverage opportunities for regional collaboration to foster the implementation of security practices.

Executive Summary: The U.S. Mission Kazakhstan announces an open competition to implement an Alumni Engagement and Outreach Program to recognize longstanding U.S. support for Kazakhstan and the many contributions of USG exchange alumni to Kazakhstan. Additionally, the U.S. Mission would like to support alumni as established opinion leaders in their communities in activities that highlight U.S. culture, efforts on diversity and inclusion, and alumni expertise and experience to local audiences. All proposed programs must include an American element, either through a connection with American experts, organizations, or institutions, usage of American educational/informational resources, or any other activities that promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives and/or contribute to increased mutual understanding between the people of the United States and people of Kazakhstan. Background: The U.S. Mission has provided support for USG alumni engagement for five years through the National Alumni Network. Prior programming has included alumni forums, mentoring programs, small grants to regional alumni leaders, and published alumni profiles to build the alumni network. The United States remains a key partner in strengthening Kazakhstan's economy, national security, healthcare, civil society, and other areas of bilateral cooperation. Today, more than ever, Kazakhstan has signaled interest in partnering with the United States in a variety of fields. Since Kazakhstan's independence, over 22,000 Kazakhs have participated in U.S. government-supported exchange programs. The U.S. Embassy New Zealand Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to develop and implement a Young Pacific Leaders (YPL) Conference sometime between May-July 2025 to provide emerging Pacific leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to become leaders, pending the availability of funding. The Conference should preferably take part in French Polynesia to coincide with the United Nations Ocean Conference being hosted by France in June 2025, but may be hosted in other Pacific locations pending logistics and costs. The State Department has convened a diverse Young Pacific Leaders (YPL) Conference each year since 2013, taking place in American Samoa, Samoa, New Zealand, Hawaii, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and Guam. Each conference shared the goal of building leadership capacity and creating ties among emerging leaders from across the Pacific region (see below for a list of participating countries). This year, the conference should bring together a group of emerging leaders, ages 25-40, with the goal of providing them with practical leadership skills and a deeper knowledge of regional issues related to the four pillars of the YPL program: civic engagement, environment/resource management, education, and economic and social development. The conference should also help participants grow their networks and enable them to work with their peers on issues that affect the region. The conference should emphasize experiential learning and capacity building in order to equip diverse participants with the tools they need for success. We encourage pre- and post-conference programming that will reinforce the learnings from the conference.
