Public Charter School Program Grant (CSP) Planning, Program Design, and Implementation - Stage I

The 2024 Public Charter School Program (CSP) Planning, Program Design and Implementation grant is administered by the Florida Department of Education through an RFP process. Eligible applicants must have submitted a charter school application to a Local Educational Agency (LEA) using the Department's model charter school application and received approval or be pending an appeal. The CSP sub-recipient must open the charter school in the 2024-25 school year. Approximately $20,420,000 is available, with individual awards of up to $860,000 for new and established operators, and $1,500,000 for Schools of Hope or schools in Opportunity Zones. The Stage I proposal is due by July 5, 2024, and the Stage II proposal by September 26, 2024.
