La Crosse County offers Neighborhood Revitalization Programs to encourage redevelopment and improve housing opportunities in mature neighborhoods with aging or deteriorating housing stock. The Acquisition & Demolition (A&D) Grant Program provides funding for activities that prepare properties for residential redevelopment, replacing deteriorated housing with new construction. This program is not intended for home renovation projects but focuses on redevelopment that revitalizes older neighborhoods. Nonprofit housing developers may request a reservation of grant funding while planning their projects. Applications for the current funding cycle are due by December 10, 2024, with additional cycles occurring in March, June, September, and December.
