Immediate Needs Grant

The Immediate Needs Grant is designed for charitable organizations facing unforeseen and unexpected situations requiring a quick financial response. This grant caters to time-sensitive needs that necessitate a decision within five business days, with grant amounts up to $1,500. For projects exceeding $1,500, grants may be provided as "last-dollar-in" funding. Organizations are limited to one grant per calendar year, and the initiative is available to any charitable organization or cause serving Huntington County. Organizations without 501(c)(3) status must have a fiscal sponsor to apply. Applications are evaluated based on the urgency and merit of the project, with priority given to those providing a compelling case for the time sensitivity of their needs.
