Lincoln County Community Foundation Grant

The Lincoln County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for its 2025 grant program. Established in 2001 as a permanent endowment, the Foundation operates as an affiliate of the Charlotte-based Foundation For The Carolinas. It aims to inspire philanthropy, enhance charitable giving, and strengthen the Lincoln County community. The Foundation supports a broad range of charitable initiatives and serves as a reliable philanthropic resource within the region. The primary goal of this grant program is to support projects that address community needs in Lincoln County. While a wide array of charitable purposes will be considered, the Foundation gives priority to proposals focusing on child services, education, food insecurity, housing, mental health, or utility assistance. To qualify, all projects must serve Lincoln County residents. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) publicly supported charities, churches and religious organizations, governmental agencies, and educational institutions. Each proposal is evaluated by the Foundation's local board of advisors, which considers both the merits of the project and available funds. Although previous awards typically range from $1,000 to $5,000, larger awards may be considered for proposals demonstrating exceptional benefit to the community.
