Texas Job Creators Grant
This program provides financial support and mentorship to diverse-led small businesses in Texas, promoting job creation and growth among underrepresented groups.
The Texas Job Creators Grant is offering a total of $50,000 in small business grants to support 10 diverse-led businesses in Texas. The grant aims to promote job creation and business growth among minority and underrepresented groups, including Latino, Black, Asian, Women, LGBTA+, and Military Veterans, as well as those located in low to moderate-income areas. In addition to financial support, grant recipients will receive scholarships to participate in the Founders First accelerator program, which offers continued education and mentorship opportunities. The application process includes submitting detailed business information, a profit and loss statement, and a short pitch video. Applications open in August 2024, with semi-finalists selected for final judging in September 2024. Eligible applicants must be for-profit companies based in Texas with annual revenues between $100,000 and $5 million, a B2B or B2G business model, at least two full-time employees, and the potential to add 1-2 premium wage jobs within 12 months.
