Grant Description

The aim of USAID/Namibias Key Populations - Resilience, Innovation, Sustainability, and Empowerment (KP-RISE) activity is to provide innovative HIV service delivery, build capacity of KP-led organizations, promote policy, legal and societal environment to increase access to health services, and to use data for program improvement and advocacy. USAID desires to support Activities which offer high impact prevention options to those that are HIV negative, initiate those who are HIV+ and not yet on treatment, reinitiate those who are HIV positive and whose treatment has lapsed, and provide care and support for all.At this time USAID has not selected a type of obligating instrument for the anticipated activity. In the spirit of co-design, feedback provided to this RFI will be utilized in the finalization of the activitys design.

USAID is seeking feedback from potential responsible local Namibian and/or regional/international consortium led by local organizations. USAID welcomes concept papers/applications from organizations which have not previously received financial assistance from USAID. Only local organizations as defined below are eligible for award. USAID defines a local entity as an individual, a corporation, a nonprofit organization, or another body of persons that:(1) Is legally organized under the laws of; and(2) Has as its principal place of business or operations in; and(3) Is majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of; and(4) Is managed by a governing body the majority of who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the country receiving assistance.
