Grant Description

The U.S. Embassy in Jordan invites alumni of U.S. government-funded exchange programs to apply for the 2025 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF). This initiative supports alumni-led projects that address key themes, including economic resilience and entrepreneurship, youth leadership and civic participation, environmental sustainability, and strengthening U.S.-Jordan relations. Projects should foster collaboration, build community capacity, and highlight shared U.S.-Jordan values and experiences. Grants range from $5,000 to $35,000, with an expected total of two awards. Eligible applicants are teams of at least two alumni from U.S. exchange programs. While nonprofit organizations and institutions cannot apply directly, they may partner on project implementation. Applicants with private businesses cannot use their organizations as partners to avoid conflicts of interest. Proposals should clearly define project goals, activities, timelines, and expected outcomes, aligning with one or more of the program's themes. Applications must include a budget with detailed line-item justifications. All submissions are due by January 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM (Amman time) via email to JordanAlumni@state.gov.
