An organization may apply for a grant if it is one of the following: Exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) In existence for at least two years Sponsored by a 501(c)(3) who will serve as the fiscal agent (must complete fiscal sponsor form) A special-purpose unit of government Must exist within the Herington City Limits and/or be located within a 3-mile radius of the Herington City Limits. This determined area, though outside of the 3-mile radius, includes the Herington Regional Airport and complex.
