The CDC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) CDC-RFA-JG-25-0146 aims to strengthen national and sub-national capacities in Nigeria to implement the International Health Regulations (IHR) (2005). The total estimated funding available for this program is $25,000,000, with two awards expected. The funding is offered through a cooperative agreement, facilitating collaboration between CDC and recipients. There are no cost-sharing or matching requirements for applicants. Eligible applicants include a broad range of entities, such as state and local governments, tribal organizations, nonprofits, small businesses, and public or private higher education institutions.
Applications must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov by April 8, 2025, no later than 11:59 PM ET. The application package is expected to be posted on February 7, 2025, with awards anticipated by August 29, 2025. Funded projects are expected to begin on September 30, 2025.
