Grant Description

American Airlines offers grant opportunities to nonprofit organizations that focus on social good, global health and well-being, and support for U.S. military members. The airline provides assistance through monetary donations, in-kind contributions such as AAdvantage mileage certificates, and volunteerism. Eligible organizations must be registered as 501(c)(3) nonprofits and provide services within specific counties in the United States. However, there are funding restrictions that exclude certain types of organizations from consideration, such as fraternal organizations, political associations, national nonprofit organizations, religious organizations with purely denominational purposes, and sports teams or programs. Additionally, funding will not be considered for events taking place within the current quarter, competitions or talent contests, baggage fees or cargo space, conferences or conventions, endowment campaigns, video production costs, or AAdvantage status upgrades. For more information on how to request support from American Airlines or to inquire about funding opportunities, potential applicants can email community.relations@aa.com.
