Engaging Students in English
This funding opportunity supports U.S. and Luxembourgish organizations in promoting English language learning and professional development initiatives for students in Luxembourg, with a focus on inclusivity and engagement through U.S. cultural elements.
The Public Diplomacy Section (PD) of the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg administers a Public Diplomacy Grants Program to support projects that promote bilateral cooperation and shared values between the U.S. and Luxembourg. Proposals must include an American perspective, societal or cultural element, or collaboration with American experts, organizations, or institutions. The grants are one-time funding opportunities aimed at launching sustainable projects and cannot be used for ongoing operational costs, construction, scientific research, partisan political activities, trade activities, fundraising campaigns, or commercial products. Applications are subject to funding availability and must comply with the Code of Federal Regulations (2CFR200). Eligible applicants include U.S. or Luxembourgish nonprofits, think tanks, civil society organizations, public and private educational institutions, public international organizations, and governmental institutions. U.S. organizations must partner with a Luxembourgish organization. Luxembourg individuals (non-U.S. citizens) may also apply. Organizations must be registered on SAM.gov, except for individual applicants. The application process follows a two-step format, starting with a Statement of Interest (SOI), followed by a full proposal for selected applicants.
