Grant Description

This grant opportunity offers $50,000 in small business grants to diverse-led businesses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. A total of ten grants will be awarded to businesses that meet specific eligibility criteria, including having annual revenues between $100,000 and $5 million, operating a Business-to-Business (B2B) or Business-to-Government (B2G) model, and having a staff of at least two full-time employees. The grant aims to support businesses led by individuals from underrepresented groups, such as Latino, Black, Asian, Women, LGBTA+, Military Veterans, or those in Low to Moderate Income areas. Additionally, all grant recipients will receive a scholarship to a Founders First accelerator program to aid in continued education and business development. Eligible businesses must be able to create 1-2 new premium wage jobs within the next 12 months. The application process involves submitting a detailed application, including business information, an organization chart, a Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, and a short pitch video. Semi-finalists will be chosen for a final judging round, with finalists announced during a live press event. The grant application opened in May 2024, with a deadline of June 25, 2024, for submission.
