Successful proposals are those that present unique and necessary projects which do not duplicate existing services and may not easily attract traditional funding. Projects should be clearly articulated as worthwhile and of significant impact to the requesting organization or population served.
Applications are due annually on May 1, and all applicants are notified of funding decisions by June 30. While the majority of grants are one-year in duration, the Trust is open to larger multi-year commitments where warranted. Grant awards typically range from $10,000 to $100,000, with an average award size of approximately $35,000.
