2024 Fall Montana Mental Health Access Fund

The Montana Mental Health Access Fund was created to increase access to mental health services across Montana, particularly focusing on tribal communities. The fund supports innovative ideas to improve mental health and well-being on Reservations in Montana, leveraging technology and other resources to provide mental health services even in the hardest-to-reach areas and populations. Projects should aim to improve or increase access to mental health services, reduce barriers to access, provide services at no cost to patients, and ensure long-term and sustainable solutions. Eligible applicants include licensed mental health providers working on the seven Indian Reservations in Montana or with the Little Shell Chippewa Tribe. Grants range from $1,000 to $10,000, and the application period is open annually from July 1 to November 1. Projects must be evidence-based, demonstrate measurable outcomes, and fill needs that other resources cannot meet. The fund encourages partnerships that result in efficient and effective use of resources.
