Grant Description

gBETA Future of Mobility is a national pre-seed accelerator program hosted by gener8tor and made possible through partnerships with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and HG Ventures. The program is designed for early-stage startups rooted locally but focused on innovating the broader U.S. transportation, delivery, and safety sectors. Each cycle takes place in Indianapolis, Indiana, and offers both in-person and virtual engagement, culminating in a seven-week intensive curriculum that fosters strategic growth, investor readiness, and long-term ecosystem integration. Startups selected for gBETA Future of Mobility gain access to one-on-one coaching and mentorship through gener8tor’s nationally ranked network. The curriculum includes weekly “Lunch & Learn” sessions on key business topics, “Mentor Swarms” that provide access to around 30 mentors during the program, and culminates with investor pitch opportunities, including engagements with top-tier venture firms such as Elevate Ventures. The program also provides over $1 million in vendor perks from major tech service providers including Amazon, Hubspot, IBM Cloud, and Microsoft. The scope of eligible innovation areas includes autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, highway and road infrastructure, safety innovations, and technologies that support the logistics and transportation supply chain. Applicants should be coachable, able to commit at least 5–7 hours per week to program activities, and open to discussing their business model with mentors and investors. Although there is no financial investment or equity exchanged, the program emphasizes fundraising readiness and scaling capabilities. There is no cost to participate in gBETA, and no equity is taken. Up to five companies are accepted per cohort. Post-program support continues through alumni resources, industry introductions, and additional investor engagement opportunities such as gener8tor’s Lightning Rounds and corporate conferences. Applications for the Winter 2026 cohort close on February 1, 2026. The program officially kicks off on March 5, 2026, and ends on April 24, 2026. Programming starts with a 1.5-day kickoff including team-building and one-on-one sessions, and ends with investor pitches and a celebratory showcase. The program recurs multiple times per year, with the next cycle likely starting in Winter 2027. Interested applicants may reach out directly to the Program Manager, Nate Domenighini, at [email protected] or schedule office hours via the gBETA website. Applicants must complete the gBETA application form, which requires detailed company information, business model, team background, goals, and traction.
