The grant funds may cover up to 15 percent for organizational overhead related to the project but cannot be used for debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, endowment funding, or activities that are religious or political in nature. Furthermore, grants will not support individuals or private foundations nor fund general fundraising efforts such as fund drives or capital campaigns.
