The Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation, with the support of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO), is offering grants to improve quality of life in the Mountain Grove area. The foundation’s grantmaking is intended to address critical community needs and is funded by unrestricted and field-of-interest donations, allowing the foundation to allocate funds flexibly based on evolving local needs. Guided by a Board of Directors with knowledge of the Mountain Grove area, the grant committee evaluates applications and recommends funding as resources permit.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, government entities, school districts, and churches serving the Mountain Grove community. Grants of up to $2,000 are available per agency. Applications are accepted on a scheduled basis and must be submitted by 11:45 p.m. on December 9, 2024. The grant system employs a character count for all responses, which includes spaces and punctuation.
The foundation adheres to strict non-discrimination guidelines, both in its grantmaking process and in the operations of grantees. Specifically, funds cannot be used in ways that discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status, in alignment with the CFO’s commitment to inclusivity.
For questions specific to the grant program, applicants can contact Dr. David Barbe or Kim Norris at the Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation. For assistance with the application system or technical issues, applicants are encouraged to reach out to Rachel Tripp at CFO.
