The City of Foley, in partnership with the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation (GSDC), is now accepting applications for the Main Street Economic Revitalization Grant Program. This initiative is funded through the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) to support economic revitalization efforts in downtown Foley and St. Cloud. The program provides a 30% matching grant to commercial property owners, businesses, and developers undertaking development, repair, and renovation projects that drive community enhancement and economic growth.
For the downtown Foley component, the City plans to fund 1 to 2 projects with a maximum individual award of $37,600. Applications will be accepted from April 15, 2025, through May 23, 2025. Project awards will be announced later in the summer of 2025.
Eligible applicants must have projects that stimulate business growth, improve infrastructure, create jobs, enhance accessibility, and contribute to the long-term vibrancy of the downtown area. Applications must include a Main Street Grant Application and Bid Documentation Form.
Interested applicants can contact Leslie Dingmann, Business Development Director at GSDC, for more information. GSDC will oversee the application process and ensure alignment with DEEDโs funding guidelines.
