Community Cultural Events and Programs Grant

The Community Cultural Events and Programs (CCEP) Grant is administered by the City of Wilsonville through its Arts, Culture, and Heritage Commission. This funding opportunity is part of Wilsonville’s broader commitment to supporting local nonprofits in delivering programs, projects, and events that enhance arts, culture, history, and heritage within the city limits. The funds are drawn from the City’s General Fund and are specifically designed to foster community engagement and participation in cultural life. The grant encourages projects that bring cultural vitality to Wilsonville, including new initiatives that promote artistic and historic education or experiences. Additionally, support is available for existing annual events that incorporate new features, partnerships, or expanded outreach. Projects aimed at increasing accessibility to cultural programming for underserved communities—such as low-income residents, newcomers, or ethnic minorities—are also eligible. Allowable activities include advertising, public relations campaigns, and improvements that foster broader inclusion in community cultural life. Only nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations are eligible to apply, and each organization may receive just one grant per fiscal year. Projects must occur within Wilsonville city limits. Prior grantees must complete required final reports and evaluations before applying for future funding rounds. Matching funds—either through in-kind contributions or direct financial support—are required and must be committed prior to grant disbursement. Matching amounts must be fully documented in the application and in the final report. The total grant pool for the program is $25,000, distributed across multiple recipients. Due to the volume of applications, full funding is rarely granted, and awarded applicants may receive less than their requested amount. Organizations are still expected to carry out their proposed project or inform the City of any significant changes. Misuse of funds or deviation from the submitted application without approval will result in a requirement to return the funds. Applications must be submitted online and include all necessary information. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Applicants are invited to present their proposal during the public meeting of the City’s Arts, Culture, and Heritage Commission. This meeting offers applicants an opportunity to emphasize the importance of their proposal within a three-minute time slot. The next application deadline is Friday, November 14, 2025. The review meeting for Fall 2025 submissions is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 5:30 PM.
