WomensNet’s $25,000 Year-End Amber Grants represent the culmination of the organization’s year-long efforts to support women entrepreneurs. Each year, WomensNet awards three separate $25,000 grants to outstanding recipients who have previously won a $10,000 monthly Amber Grant, a Business Specific Category Grant, or a Startup Grant. These prestigious year-end awards are given to recognize excellence, growth potential, and alignment with WomensNet’s mission of empowering women-led businesses.
To qualify for the $25,000 grants, applicants must first be selected as one of the monthly $10,000 grant recipients in any of the three primary grant tracks. These include the general Amber Grant, awarded monthly to one woman-owned business across any industry; the Business Specific Category Grant, tied to a rotating list of industry focuses (such as STEM, Food & Beverage, or Fashion); and the Startup Grant, which supports businesses in the ideation or early-stage development phase with less than $10,000 in sales.
Applicants need only submit one grant application to be eligible for all of these opportunities. There is no need to reapply for different months or categories. This streamlined process increases accessibility and ensures that a single compelling application can open the door to multiple funding opportunities over the course of the year.
At the end of the year, three businesses are chosen from the pool of monthly winners—one from each of the three categories—for an additional $25,000 award. These grants are intended to provide transformative financial support that can help women-owned businesses scale operations, increase visibility, and realize long-term goals. Past winners include a diverse range of businesses such as Moy Studio, Holiatry Health and Wellness, and Alicia Dietz Studios in 2024.
These grants honor the legacy of Amber, a young woman who passed away at 19 before realizing her entrepreneurial dreams. The program is designed not only to provide capital but also to validate and amplify the voices and visions of women entrepreneurs at all stages of business development.
