Grant Description

The William E Eslick Fund for Southern Baptist Greene County Churches Grant Program for Fiscal Year 2025 is accepting applications from March 3, 2025, through May 15, 2025. This grant program was established to support the capital project needs of Southern Baptist churches located in Greene County, Missouri. The fund specifically provides funding for capital improvements that also provide a benefit to the broader community, such as grounds beautification, installing benches or playground equipment, or creating a walking trail. This grant does not support operational expenses, meaning applications requesting funds for regular church operations such as staffing, utilities, or general programming will not be considered. Instead, the program’s focus is on projects that enhance church facilities while also encouraging community use and engagement. Eligible applicants must be Southern Baptist churches located in Greene County, Missouri. Churches may apply for up to $2,000 in funding. Grant awards will be made in the summer of 2025. All funds must be used in alignment with the fund’s purpose of supporting capital projects that have both church and community impact. The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) administers this grant and adheres to a strict nondiscrimination policy. No applicant will be discriminated against based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status. Additionally, grantees must ensure that no discrimination occurs in their employment practices or service access policies when using CFO grant funds. Applications must be submitted through the CFO’s online grant system by 11:45 p.m. on May 15, 2025. The grant application platform uses a character count for all responses, which includes all letters, numbers, spaces, and punctuation.
