2025 RESOLVE NOLA Community Impact Grant
This funding opportunity provides financial support to nonprofit organizations in New Orleans that deliver mental health and addiction services to youth and families affected by community violence and trauma, particularly in underserved communities.
United Way of Southeast Louisiana (UWSELA), in partnership with the Resilient, Equitable Systems for Overcoming Loss and Violence Everywhere (RESOLVE) Grant initiative and the ReCAST Advisory Board Members, is offering the 2025 RESOLVE NOLA Community Impact Grant. This program responds to the urgent need for accessible mental health care and coordinated addiction services for youth and families impacted by community violence and trauma in New Orleans. It addresses systemic disparities by funding trauma-informed, community-based services targeting youth of color in communities affected by chronic poverty. The RESOLVE NOLA Community Impact Grant aims to fund initiatives that expand equitable access to mental health and addiction services tailored for underserved communities. It specifically supports projects that mitigate the effects of physical and emotional trauma, mental health conditions, substance abuse, and excessive alcohol use. The goal is to build a coordinated network of community violence and trauma response services to improve behavioral health outcomes for marginalized youth. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or have a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor if they are not themselves tax-exempt. Collaborative applications are encouraged, provided one 501(c)(3) organization serves as the fiscal agent. All applying or sponsoring organizations must operate within Orleans Parish. Grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded, and all funds must be expended by September 29, 2025. Applications must be submitted electronically by 4:00 p.m. Central Time on May 23, 2025. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted. The application process includes completing a downloadable grant application and submitting a cover letter via a webform. The selection timeline includes a community review from May 27 to June 9, 2025, with notification letters sent by June 17 and public announcements by June 24. Funds will be disbursed by July 1, 2025.
