Angel Charity for Children, Inc. is a nonprofit organization consisting of 250 volunteer members dedicated to improving the lives of children in Pima County, Arizona. Over the past 43 years, the organization has contributed nearly $35 million to 152 projects, positively impacting more than 1.2 million children in the region. The organization raises funds annually and awards grants to select beneficiaries chosen by its General Membership. The 2026 Impact Grant offers between $100,000 and $900,000 in funding for nonprofit organizations that serve children under 18 in Pima County. Eligible expenses include the purchase or construction of real estate, mortgage retirement, equipment, personal property, and program expenses. Applicants may submit requests covering multiple eligible categories. Organizations must have held IRS tax-exempt status for at least three years and must not have been beneficiaries in the previous year. Private operating foundations may apply, but private non-operating foundations are not eligible. A Letter of Intent is required for the Impact Grant and must be submitted via the Reviewr platform by 6:00 PM on November 10, 2025. Applicants who submit a letter of intent may begin the full application on November 20, 2025. Final applications, including all required attachments, must be submitted by 6:00 PM on January 8, 2026. All materials must be uploaded to the Reviewr portal with clearly labeled file names. Selected agencies will be assigned liaisons to assist with preparing for presentations to the Charity Selection Committee scheduled for February 3–5, 2026. If chosen as Semi-Finalists, agencies will also undergo a site visit around February 10, 2026. Finalists will present at the Angel Charity Annual Voting Meeting on March 4, 2026. No handouts are permitted, but PowerPoint presentations of up to 20 slides are allowed and must be submitted by midnight on January 30, 2026. Grantees must agree to enter into a Beneficiary Agreement that includes a first-position forgivable lien for up to ten years on specified collateral. Depending on the grant category, funds may be disbursed no earlier than May 2027. Construction-related projects must be completed before funds are released. This program is not listed as recurring, and future cycles are not guaranteed.
