Grant Description

The Connor Foundation supports nonprofit organizations primarily based in Northeast Ohio, with a mission focus in health and wellness, preservation of nature, education, and the arts. Although the Foundation prioritizes projects rooted in Northeast Ohio, it is also open to considering applications from organizations outside the region if their work aligns with the Foundation's programmatic priorities and demonstrates exceptional impact. Eligible applicants must be tax-exempt nonprofit organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or operate under the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Organizations must propose work that directly relates to at least one of the Foundation’s designated focus areas: health and wellness, nature preservation, education, or the arts. The Connor Foundation maintains a flexible application process, allowing applicants to submit requests in any format they choose. Applications must be submitted via email to info@connorfoundation.org. The Foundation conducts two grantmaking cycles annually. For the 2025 grant year, Cycle 1 applications are due by April 25, 2025, with grants awarded in June 2025. Cycle 2 applications are due by October 24, 2025, with grants awarded in December 2025. Applicants will be notified of their status following the Foundation’s decision-making meetings, and grants will be awarded shortly thereafter. The Connor Foundation’s emphasis is on supporting impactful work that aligns with its core program areas and geographic priorities.
