The Community Foundation for Randolph County (CFRC), an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF), provides competitive grant opportunities to support charitable organizations serving Randolph County. Established in 1991, CFRC builds community assets through permanent endowments, strategic grantmaking, and leadership to strengthen local causes.
The 2025 grant application cycle will open on April 4, 2025, and close promptly at NOON Eastern Time on May 6, 2025. Applications submitted after the deadline, including late ones due to technical issues, will not be accepted. Grant awards typically range from $500 to $2,000. In 2024, CFRC distributed $23,880 through this competitive process.
Funding for 2025 will come from CFRCβs community grantmaking fund and the Randolph Health Community Foundation Endowment, which specifically supports health-related programs benefiting Randolph County. Applicants are encouraged to align their proposals with priorities outlined in the Randolph County Community Needs Assessment.
Applications must be submitted through NCCFβs online application system. First-time applicants should complete Training Module I to create a profile and then follow Training Module II for application submission. Grant decisions are generally announced about two months after the close of the cycle.
For questions regarding the application or the process, applicants should contact the assigned Program Officer at NCCF.
