Downtown Business Grant Program

The Downtown Business Grant Program, administered by Athens Main Street with funding from the City of Athens, offers financial support to downtown retailers, restaurants, and personal service businesses seeking to enhance their physical space. Approved applications are then forwarded to the Athens Main Street Board, followed by a final review and decision by the Athens City Council. The application window closes on February 9, 2026, and any project that receives grant approval must be completed by December 31, 2026.
