The Caring Foundation of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama offers grant opportunities to organizations located in Alabama or serving Alabama communities. The foundation focuses on improving the health and well-being of Alabamians by investing in charitable organizations across the state. To be eligible for funding, organizations must be 501(c)(3) qualified and benefit citizens in Alabama. However, individuals, political organizations or candidates, private foundations or charities, sports leagues or teams, and any activity deemed inappropriate by the foundation are not eligible for support. Organizations may only submit one request per year, and all funding requests must be submitted online.
