Emergency HIV Grant for Transgender, Women & Youth Services
This funding opportunity provides financial support to nonprofit organizations in the U.S. that deliver essential HIV treatment and prevention services, particularly for transgender individuals, women, and youth.
In response to significant upcoming funding gaps caused by recent federal policy changes, The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) has launched a competitive Emergency Grant Cycle to support direct-service organizations that provide critical HIV treatment, prevention, and holistic wellness services, with a strong focus on programs serving Transgender communities, women, and youth. The emergency grant application opened on April 16, 2025, and will remain open until May 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM PT. Grants are aimed at sustaining essential HIV-related services during this unexpected funding crisis. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations based and operating in the United States that provide direct services in support of HIV care or prevention. Funds must be used within 12 months of receipt, and mid-year and end-of-year reports are required. Priority areas for funding include: Transgender HIV Services & Wellness Support: Programs supporting HIV treatment, prevention, and holistic services for transgender individuals. Women & Youth Wrap-Around Health Services: Programs offering housing assistance, case management, crisis support, care coordination, workforce development, and health services for women and LGBTQ+ youth at risk or living with HIV. Funds cannot be used for lobbying activities or regranting to 501(c)(4) entities. Applications must be submitted through the ETAF online grant portal. Organizations seeking assistance or with technical questions may contact admin@etaf.org.
