Grant Description

The WeddingPro Grant Program 2026 is a nationwide initiative that supports wedding professionals through financial grants, advertising credits, mentorship, and community engagement. Developed by WeddingPro, a platform that includes The Knot and WeddingWire, this program aims to empower small business owners who play a central role in life’s most meaningful celebrations. In response to rising operational costs, limited access to capital, and increased financial pressures, this initiative seeks to ease economic barriers while supporting the long-term growth of wedding vendors. This year's program represents a $500,000 commitment, distributed across monetary grants, promotional advertising opportunities, and mentorship programming. Individual grants range between $10,000 and $50,000 and are awarded either as direct financial support or in the form of one year of free advertising on The Knot and WeddingWire platforms. Applicants may choose to apply for one or both options, but only one award type will be granted per business. The grant is complemented by access to a network of educational resources, including onboarding into WeddingPro’s library of reports, webinars, and blog posts, as well as editorial and social media features designed to highlight recipient businesses. Mentorship is a cornerstone of the grant experience, pairing grantees with personal mentors who guide them through quarterly group sessions, supplemented by one-on-one support as needed. In addition to professional guidance, grantees are welcomed into WeddingPro’s broader community of wedding professionals through events and connection programs, fostering peer support and shared learning. To qualify, applicants must have been in business for at least six months and operate under an LLC or comparable legal structure. They must have an active revenue stream and derive at least 50% of their business activity from weddings. As part of the application, businesses are required to submit a short video introducing their operations and outlining how they would use the grant funding over a 12–24 month timeframe. Applications are judged based on vision (a clearly articulated growth plan), execution (feasibility of proposed use of funds), and resilience (evidence of challenges and how the grant would address them). The application period runs from February 23 to March 27, 2026. Submissions will be reviewed from April 1 to April 30, with grantees notified on May 1. Final announcements will be made on May 31. With a strong emphasis on support, visibility, and access to tools for success, the WeddingPro Grant Program 2026 is designed to help wedding vendors thrive in a competitive and often under-resourced industry.
