Business and Workforce Support Grant Program

The Alexander County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC) is offering the Business and Workforce Support Grant Program to businesses in Alexander County, North Carolina. Grants, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, are available for projects that focus on modifying physical spaces, enhancing e-commerce capabilities, expanding service delivery capacity, purchasing business equipment, or improving ADA accessibility and public health compliance. The total funding available for this program is $50,000, and applications are due by September 30, 2024. The grant period runs from September 1, 2024, to April 1, 2025. Eligible applicants must operate a legal business in Alexander County, have 50 or fewer employees, and invest in a project that meets or exceeds the grant award. Home-based businesses are not eligible, though certified home-based childcare centers may apply.
