COVID-19 Mitigation Project - Round 3
This funding opportunity supports California-based organizations that provide mental health and substance use disorder services to vulnerable populations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 Mitigation Project is designed to address the public health emergency caused by COVID-19 by supporting behavioral health systems. The grant focuses on helping individuals involved in mental health or substance use disorder care. It supports a variety of entities including public and private nonprofit California licensed, certified or qualified providers in the areas of substance use and mental health disorders. Eligible entities also include county and Tribal-based providers, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and other organizations providing essential services to vulnerable populations affected by the pandemic. This funding opportunity is available to public and private nonprofit California licensed, certified or otherwise qualified substance use and/or mental health disorder providers, county and Tribal-based providers, crisis care mobile unit programs, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics, harm reduction service providers, recovery residences, transitional housing facilities, homeless shelters, youth-focused organizations, communitybased organizations, opioid treatment programs and office-based opioid treatment providers
