This program supports research to advance the understanding of biobehavioral and neurobiological pathways contributing to NPS in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) or Alzheimer’s disease-related dementias (ADRD). The goal is to identify novel therapeutic targets and develop interventions for preventing or treating NPS in AD/ADRD. Eligible applicants include state and local governments, higher education institutions, tribal organizations, nonprofits, small businesses, and for-profit organizations. Cost-sharing or matching funds are not required. Applications are due January 6, 2025, with additional deadlines available through September 7, 2026.
