City of Dublin Human Services Grants 2025-2027
This funding opportunity provides financial support to local non-profits that serve residents of Dublin, focusing on community needs and essential services over a two-year period.
The City of Dublin’s Human Services Grants Program is offering funding for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 to support local non-profits serving Dublin residents. This two-year grant cycle includes funding opportunities from the General Fund, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the Affordable Housing Fund, and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Applications will be accepted online through ZoomGrants starting November 25, 2024, with a deadline of January 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Applicants must attend a mandatory virtual grant workshop on December 4, 2024, co-sponsored by the cities of Dublin, Livermore, and Pleasanton. Attendance is required to qualify for funding from any of these cities. Programs funded through this cycle must operate between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, for the first fiscal year, and between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027, for the second fiscal year. Eligible organizations can apply for each funding source but must submit separate applications for each program. The Human Services Commission will review applications based on the community’s needs and make funding recommendations to the Dublin City Council, which is expected to finalize decisions in May 2025. Key dates include a commission review period from February 3–28, 2025, and a funding recommendations meeting on March 27, 2025. Grant proposals should align with the City's Community Grant Program Guiding Principles and address areas identified in the Eastern Alameda County Human Services Needs Assessment. Strict financial reporting and adherence to grant agreements are required for all funded programs. The application process includes staff reviews, commission evaluations, and mandatory participation in commission meetings. For more information, applicants can contact the Human Services staff at 925-556-4500 or via email at HumanServices@Dublin.ca.gov. Additional resources, including application guidelines and rating criteria, are available on the City of Dublin’s website.
