The Women’s Fund Grants

The Women’s Fund (TWF), an affiliate of the Wayne County Community Foundation, is currently accepting grant proposals for projects benefiting women and girls in Wayne County, Ohio. Founded in 2013, The Women’s Fund supports nonprofits that foster the full participation of women and girls through educational, economic, and health-related initiatives. TWF prioritizes three focus areas: women’s education, economic empowerment, and health and wellness. Eligible proposals may address parenting education, career readiness, financial literacy, mental health, and lifestyle awareness. Grants are available for project support, start-up initiatives, and capacity-building efforts. Successful proposals should include a clearly defined plan with measurable outcomes and demonstrate financial and organizational stability. Grants range from $1,000 to $25,000 and must be used within one year of award. Proposals that maximize the impact of requested funds and demonstrate collaboration among organizations are especially encouraged. Grant applications must be submitted online via the Foundation’s Grant Portal by September 1 for decisions announced by December 1. Applicants may be contacted for additional information or interviews during the review process. Organizations must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits or qualified government agencies. Ineligible uses include scholarships, religious or political activities, capital campaigns, and funding for individuals. Funded projects must take place within Wayne County and directly benefit local women and girls. Grantees must submit one interim and one final report within the project year.
