Transatlantic Partnership Program

Applications from U.S.-based or third-country organizations without a German partner are not considered. Applications must be submitted in English, with budgets in USD, and adhere to strict formatting guidelines. Each application must include detailed project descriptions, a monitoring and evaluation plan, and a budget narrative. Proposals should demonstrate alignment with U.S. policy objectives in Germany, clearly identify their target audience, and specify how they will achieve measurable impacts. Final funding decisions will be communicated by mid-February, and awards will be issued by the end of February, with projects starting as early as March. A second round of applications is due on March 23, 2025. Applications must be submitted via the Grants Navigator platform, as submissions through Grants.gov or MyGrants are not accepted.
