The Richard S. Reynolds Foundation, founded in Richmond, Virginia, in 1955, continues the legacy of Richard S. Reynolds, a visionary known for turning challenges into opportunities. Applicants must adhere strictly to these eligibility guidelines to be considered for funding.
The application process is managed online only, with paper proposals no longer accepted. Interested organizations must first verify their eligibility and determine whether to submit a letter of inquiry or a full grant application. Applications must be received by April 15 for review at the May Board meeting or by October 15 for review at the November Board meeting. Applicants will be notified of the Foundation’s decision within two weeks of the Board meeting if approved, or within thirty days if not approved.
