Royal CU and ECCF Nonprofit Professional Development Fund
This grant provides financial support to nonprofit organizations in the Eau Claire area for professional development opportunities that enhance leadership and organizational capacity.
The Eau Claire Community Foundation (ECCF), in partnership with Royal Credit Union, is currently accepting applications for its 2025 Nonprofit Professional Development Grant Cycle. This program supports nonprofit organizations in the Eau Claire area by funding critical professional development opportunities that may otherwise be financially inaccessible. Applications will be accepted from September 15 through October 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM noon. Grants of up to $500 are available per application and may be used between January 1 and December 31 of the year following the award. These funds are designated for a single professional development opportunity per application and may not be applied retroactively to costs incurred prior to the grant award. Eligible activities include attendance at conferences, certificate programs, and strategic planning sessions. The program is particularly focused on strengthening nonprofit leadership, improving service delivery, and building long-term organizational capacity. Applications must include details about the training, such as the title or topic, date, location, and the presenting organization. Applicants must describe the relevance of the training to their mission and explain how the experience will enhance the capabilities of staff or board members. A key emphasis is placed on the long-term impact of the training and the methods that will be used to disseminate new knowledge across the organization. Administrative approval for participation must be confirmed as part of the application. Organizations must also indicate how they will cover any costs not supported by the grant, such as travel or registration fees exceeding the $500 limit. Required documentation includes a year-to-date organizational budget and may also include training agendas or supporting materials. This grant opportunity aligns with ECCFโs broader goal of supporting a robust, skilled, and sustainable nonprofit sector in Eau Claire County. For access to the application or questions about the process, applicants should visit ECCFโs grant portal hosted on the GrantInterface platform.
