The ArtsEverywhere Grant Program is a competitive funding opportunity managed by the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County. This private, local philanthropic foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents of St. Joseph County, Indiana, through strategic grantmaking and community engagement. There are three distinct funding categories within the ArtsEverywhere program. The first, Capacity Building, supports internal strengthening of organizations, such as leadership development, governance enhancement, and operational improvements. The second category, Program or Project Support, funds initiatives including artistic performances, exhibitions, and community-focused arts programming. The third, Major Venture Funding, is geared toward bold, transformative arts efforts with potential for broad and lasting impact on the community. All applications must be submitted through the Foundation’s online grant system, which opens approximately six weeks prior to each grant deadline. There are two annual deadlines: May 1 and November 1. If either deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, submissions are due by 9:00 a.m. the following business day. Applicants are required to follow the Foundation’s detailed guidelines, including use of the prescribed budget template and compliance with grant recognition protocols. The Foundation provides resources to assist applicants in strengthening their submissions, such as examples of previously funded projects and general guidance.
