Rogersville Affiliate Grantmaking Program

The Community Foundation of Rogersville is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals living in the Rogersville area through targeted grantmaking and community leadership. Operating under the guidance of a locally-informed Board of Directors and a designated grant committee, the foundation ensures its initiatives are tailored to meet the specific and evolving needs of the community. This leadership model is reinforced by the presence of unrestricted and field-of-interest funds established by generous charitable donors who entrust local leaders with the responsibility of determining grant allocations. The foundation’s primary approach to grantmaking is notably flexible, designed to adapt to the changing priorities of the Rogersville community. This adaptability enables the foundation to remain responsive and effective in addressing pressing needs, supported through both donor-established funds and funds raised directly by the Community Foundation of Rogersville. Grantmaking occurs on a set schedule, with decisions contingent upon the availability of funds during each grant cycle. Eligibility for funding extends to organizations classified under IRS code 501(c)(3), as well as other IRS-recognized entities such as governmental bodies, school districts, and churches. All applicants must provide services within Rogersville. The foundation encourages all eligible entities that serve Rogersville residents to submit proposals within the defined timeframe. Applicants may request a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $10,500 for this grant cycle. Proposals must be submitted through an application system that includes a strict character count limit, accounting for letters, numbers, spaces, and punctuation across all questions. It is important for applicants to adhere to these constraints to ensure successful submission. All applications must be submitted by 11:45 p.m. on May 27, 2025. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their proposals by July 2025.
