The Republic County Community Action Fund is an unrestricted, endowed community grant fund designed to meet both the present and future needs of Republic County, Kansas. This fund was established through the generosity of individual donors who contributed to the Foundation to support charitable projects that enhance the quality of life within the county.
Each year, the Foundation Board determines and designates the amount of available funding from the fund, awarding grants to community-focused projects. The Fund is open to a variety of issues and target populations, allowing broad flexibility in project types, though successful applications must align with the Foundation’s mission to improve the quality of life in Republic County.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, as well as groups and individuals working on charitable community projects. For-profit organizations are ineligible unless the request clearly supports a charitable project. All grants must support projects located within Republic County.
Applications must be submitted through the Foundation’s online grant application system and will be reviewed according to the Foundation’s established grant guidelines.
