Aaron Roitman Chamber Music Fund Grants

The Aaron Roitman Fund for Chamber Music was established in 1994 to support the promotion and performance of quality professional chamber music in Rhode Island. Administered as part of a biennial grant cycle, the fund offers financial support to nonprofit organizations that organize chamber music performances featuring well-established artists. The fund is particularly intended to help these organizations secure performances that would otherwise be beyond their financial reach. Grants of up to $8,000 may be awarded, though the final amount granted depends on the number and quality of applications received. Funding is restricted to professional chamber music performances and does not support school-based music education programs. Only nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply, and all activities must take place in Rhode Island. To apply, organizations must complete and submit a Small Grant Programs application and an accompanying budget form through the foundation’s online application portal. All components must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 20, 2025. Technical assistance is not available after 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the day of the deadline.
