For the Good of Innovation Reagent Grant Program
This grant provides $10,000 in reagent credits to researchers working on innovative stem cell and organoid projects at eligible institutions, helping to advance scientific breakthroughs in these fields.
Bio-Techne is offering a reagent grant program aimed at supporting innovative research in the fields of stem cell and organoid biology. Under the initiative titled “For the Good of Innovation,” Bio-Techne will award three grants each valued at $10,000 in reagent credits. These credits can be used to obtain Bio-Techne products including proteins, small molecules, cell culture reagents, antibodies, and ELISA kits. The objective of the program is to catalyze scientific breakthroughs by providing essential reagents to researchers engaged in early-stage, translational, or preclinical stem cell research. The grant opportunity is open to research scientists affiliated with legally registered research institutions, biotech companies, or pharmaceutical organizations in eligible countries. These countries include the United States, Canada, numerous European countries, as well as countries in Asia and Oceania. Eligible applicants must be conducting research involving stem cells or organoids and must not be practicing medical physicians. Applicants must also be authorized by their institutions to receive free-of-charge goods. Interested applicants must submit a project proposal by November 21, 2025, using an online application form. The application should describe the research motivation, objectives, expected impact, experimental design, and how Bio-Techne products will be integrated into the research workflow. Each individual may submit up to two proposals. Submissions must be in English and complete to be considered. Applications will be evaluated by Bio-Techne’s internal team of scientific experts. Projects will be judged on four main criteria: innovation, potential impact on the field, extent of workflow integration of Bio-Techne products, and scientific relevance. Bio-Techne may utilize AI tools to pre-screen submissions. All applications will be anonymized and reviewed in randomized order to ensure fairness. Awardees will be notified on or before December 10, 2025, with public announcements expected by January 12, 2026. Each recipient must formally accept the grant within 14 days of notification. Reagent credits are to be used within six months as a single order and cannot be used toward restricted product categories. Grant winners retain full ownership of any research data generated using the products and agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities by Bio-Techne for a period of nine months. This opportunity supports researchers advancing basic science, disease modeling, and regenerative medicine innovations using stem cells and organoids. It aligns with Bio-Techne’s commitment to empowering scientific discovery by facilitating access to high-quality research reagents.
