The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), through its Bureau of Chronic Disease and Health Promotion (BCDHP) and Arizona Commercial Tobacco Control Program (ACTCP), is offering a grant opportunity to fund tobacco education and prevention efforts in Santa Cruz County. Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations that provide community public health services. Organizations must be headquartered in Arizona, be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and provide all proposed services within Santa Cruz County. Applications from organizations that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
The total available funding for this grant is $150,000. All awarded funds must be used for the designated purpose, and no additional matching funds are required. The grant is structured as a single award, meaning only one nonprofit organization will receive the full $150,000 in funding.
The application period begins on March 6, 2025, and closes on April 22, 2025. Additionally, a Pre-Application Conference is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM local Arizona time, providing an opportunity for potential applicants to receive guidance and ask questions about the funding opportunity. The grant is not issued on a rolling basis, so all applications must be submitted before the deadline for consideration.
