Nat Moore Scholarship

The Nat Moore Endowment Scholarship program is a scholarship initiative designed to support the academic ambitions of graduating high school seniors in South Florida. All applications must be submitted by December 31st at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. No late submissions are accepted. The required submission materials include a FAFSA or SAR report, high school transcript, list of community service hours, a personal statement (500–700 words), a signed permission to release form, one photograph, a resume, two letters of recommendation, and a list of other scholarships received with award amounts. A comprehensive evaluation of applicants is completed by February 6th, with semifinalist interviews beginning on February 10th. Recipients are announced on April 10th. The scholarship application opens annually on September 5th. Although the program does not specify whether it recurs on a strict annual cadence, its consistent schedule and established structure indicate an ongoing yearly cycle. Awards are determined based on a combination of academic standing, financial need, community involvement, and personal merit as expressed in the application components.
