Commercial Rehabilitation Grant Program
This program provides funding to private property owners in Kansas for rehabilitating buildings to improve safety, preserve historic features, and create jobs while preventing blight.
The Kansas CDBG Commercial Rehabilitation program provides funding to assist private property owners in the rehabilitation of structures to prevent the spread of blighted conditions. Eligible expenses include construction costs for building rehabilitation to correct code violations, historic preservation, or building renovation for job creation, and improvements to the exterior of the building. Applications are evaluated based on project need, readiness, impact, sustainability, and availability of matching funds. Applications are accepted from January 29, 2024, to December 2, 2024.
