The United Way of Bartow County 2026 Community Impact Grant is a one-time funding opportunity for nonprofit organizations serving residents of Bartow County, Georgia. Administered by the United Way of Bartow County, this grant supports local programs and initiatives that align with their mission to improve lives through four main focus areas: community resiliency, educational opportunity, financial stability, and healthy community.
The purpose of this grant is to fund measurable and impactful community programs that promote disaster preparedness, education, employment readiness, financial literacy, access to essential resources, and health services. Eligible organizations must demonstrate a clear plan for outcomes and show alignment with at least one of the grant’s impact areas. Organizations may submit separate applications for different programs, each of which will be evaluated independently.
Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that serve Bartow County residents. To be considered, programs must align with at least one focus area and provide demonstrable community impact. Site visits are recommended, particularly for first-time applicants or for those with recent program changes, though not mandatory. Each program may only be submitted under one impact category.
The application period opens on March 1, 2025, and closes on June 30, 2025. Applications will be reviewed in July and August 2025, followed by interviews or site visits in September and October. Award notifications will be issued in December 2025, with funding distributed beginning January 2026. Grants of $5,000 will be paid in one-time checks, while larger grants will be disbursed in monthly installments over a year.
Interested applicants should prepare to complete agency and program-specific information, along with a final submission section. Supporting documents are required and may be submitted with the application or separately. Digital signatures are accepted. The United Way of Bartow County is available for support and encourages applicants to engage with their events and activities throughout 2025.
