Grant Description

The Accelerated Mobility Playbook (AMP) Grant, offered by City Thread, supports U.S. cities and towns in creating safer and more connected mobility networks within 24 to 36 months. This technical assistance program provides selected cities with a range of benefits aimed at accelerating mobility projects. Grantees receive a site visit to evaluate city processes, an assessment of project delivery, strategic guidance to enhance mobility network implementation, and the opportunity to connect with other cities at an in-person gathering. The program is open to cities and towns of all sizes, regardless of their progress in mobility network development. To apply, applicants must form a partnership between a city staff member and a community leader, submit letters of support from at least three community representatives, and secure a local cash match of $15,000. If the match poses a challenge, applicants are encouraged to contact City Thread for assistance in finding alternative funding solutions. The AMP Grant emphasizes collaboration and community involvement, aiming to build lasting partnerships and strengthen public support for mobility projects. Interested cities should prepare their applications by addressing these requirements and can contact City Thread for guidance throughout the application process.
