Grant Description

The Leave Your Mark Grant, established by International Medical Group (IMG), supports global outreach efforts by mission-driven individuals and social good organizations. Since 1990, IMG has partnered with a wide range of humanitarian efforts through its core offerings in global travel and health insurance. As a company known for delivering health, safety, and travel protection solutions, IMG created this grant to further its commitment to international service and assistance by funding meaningful initiatives across the globe. The grant is structured to provide financial support to both organizations and individuals engaged in international service work. IMG will award grants to a total of five recipients: two organizations will each receive $3,500, and three individuals participating in mission, volunteer, or service trips will each receive $1,000. The financial support is intended to help advance ongoing or planned global outreach activities, including efforts to address humanitarian, medical, educational, and social challenges abroad. To participate, applicants must be at least 18 years old and not subject to federal disqualifications under 18 U.S.C. § 1033. The competition is open internationally. Employees of IMG and entities submitting on behalf of a group or organization are not eligible. Each applicant must submit either a written essay of approximately 500 words or a video essay of around three minutes. The content must be original and not include copyrighted or offensive material. The essay or video should respond to one of two prompts based on applicant type: organizations are asked to describe their response to current global obstacles and how the grant would help, while individuals are asked to explain the personal significance of their service trip and how the grant would support their outreach goals. Applications can be submitted through an online form or via email to marketing@imglobal.com. The submission window opens on August 1, 2025, and closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on September 12, 2025. Only one submission per individual is allowed. Entries will be judged by a panel of three judges, who will score each essay or video out of 100 points, evaluating content relevance, passion, human impact, and completeness. Winners will be announced on October 16, 2025. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and may be required to submit additional documentation for verification. The prize is non-transferable and may be forfeited if the selected winner fails to respond within three business days of notification or is deemed ineligible. IMG retains rights to the submitted essays or videos and may use them in global promotional materials. The grant is subject to federal, state, and local laws and may be altered or terminated at the discretion of IMG without prior notice. The legal jurisdiction for disputes is Indianapolis, Indiana. IMG encourages applicants to share the opportunity with others through social media and promotional materials. The grant reflects IMG’s long-standing dedication to enabling impactful international service by reducing the financial barriers to participation in missions and humanitarian travel.
